Similar to Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period, there is now an Open Enrollment period for Health Insurance. Open Enrollment is the time when you can review your current Health Insurance plan and decide if you want to re-enroll in the same plan or change to one of the many new plans introduced for 2015. Here are some dates to remember:
November 15, 2014. The FIRST day to apply for, keep, or change your coverage.
December 15, 2014. You must enroll by Dec 15 if you need your coverage to begin on Jan 1, 2015.
December 31, 2014. The day ALL 2014 Nevada Health Link Marketplace coverage ends. You must re-enroll to continue coverage in 2015.
February 15, 2015. The LAST day you can enroll in 2015 Affordable Care Act coverage before the end of open enrollment.
