Without much notice, as a result of the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield eliminated their entire captive sales department January 8. After 17 years with Anthem, continuing to sell health insurance and Medicare seemed logical. I quickly learned that logical does not mean easy, smooth, without worry, stress free or fast. Finally Tyler Insurance Group has been born. I am excited about the future and wanted to thank friends and family for their encouragement during the last couple of months. I am especially grateful for and humbled by the support I have received from my current clients. While it has not been easy to locate me lately ( phone numbers, email addresses, and websites all disappearing overnight January 8) the patience shown by my current clients has been remarkable.
